Oi YOU! designed and built a to-scale replica of a New York Subway car and Sofles painted it in the style of Dondi

NY Subway Car

WHAT:    
Scaled-up replica of an R17 New York subway car built as a tribute to the beginnings of the graffiti art movement. The details included rubber surrounds on windows and doors - the whole subway car was then distressed to mirror years of service. Finally it was painted by Sofles with a replica of an original Dondi artwork. RIP Dondi.
